Poker rooms like Cake Poker make their money by taking a small percentage from each pot. This is called the 'rake' and the amount varies from room to room. The typical amount of rake taken is usually between $1 and $3 per hand.

What is rakeback?

When you play poker for real money the poker rooms take a fee from each pot which is called the Rake. With Cake-Rakeback33 you get 33% of these fees returned to you each week.

What is "Total Rake" or "Net Revenue"?

Each poker room may have a different term for "Total Rake" or "Net Revenue", but it is essentially the total rake paid by you as calculated by the poker room. When Cake-Rakeback33 pays your rakeback, it is always a percentage of your Net Revenue.

Why do I need rakeback?

Rakeback is a reward for playing at Cake Poker and it could add hundreds or thousands of dollars to your bankroll every month. It is basically free money but if you don’t claim it you wont get it.

What is "Dealt" rakeback?

Dealt rakeback means you receive a share of the rake in every single hand that you are dealt regardless of whether you play in that hand or not. So even if you fold your hand pre flop you still get rakeback for that hand.

How much will I get paid?

You will receive 33% of the net revenue generated by your poker account. So the more you play at Cake Poker the more you will earn in rakeback.

When will I start receiving Rakeback at Cake Poker?

Straight away! Make sure to enter the sign up code “CAKEBACK33” when you sign up to Cake Poker and you will start receiving Rakeback as soon as you start playing.

When will I receive my Rakeback payments?

All rakeback payments are paid directly into your Cake Poker account every week. The payment period begins on Wednesday and ends the following Tuesday at 23:59 PM GMT. Payments will be made within 48 hours of the end of the pay period.

I already have a Cake Poker account can I still get rakeback?

The short answer is no. But you can still sign up for rakeback on the Cake Poker network at sites such as RedStar and Doyle's Room.

Will bonuses affect my rakeback?

No, nearly all sites deduct bonuses and deposit fees from your rakeback but Cake poker is one of the only sites that does not do this.
