Win a seat to the English Open

After the great success of the event in Nottingham last year, the English Ope will kick off in London on September 11th to 14th, 2010. This is a great chance for players to sharpen their skills before the WSOP as it hits Europe in late September, so expect to see some big players in London.

The tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000 and will be held at the stunning Beach casino in Mayfair, London. The buy in for the main event is $5,000 + $350 fee but Cake Poker will get you a seat for just $3.

To qualify for your place in the English open through Cake you can Play in one of the satellites for as little as $3 or $5. If you want to buy a place in the semi then you can buy in for $27 or you can jump straight to the final and buy in for $268. I fancy my chances in the $3 satellite. $3 for a seat worth $5K, sounds like a great return on my investment to me.

The final will take place at Cake Poker on the 27th of June and the final package is worth $7,000. The package includes the following:
