What Is Rakeback?
Poker rooms like Cake Poker need to make money and they do that by charging a small fee from every pot. This charge is usually just a couple of percent and is capped at a maximum of around $3 when you reach the higher limits. Rake is also charged on tournaments and is normally displayed when you buy in to a tournament.
For example if you buy in to a $10 tournament it maybe displayed as follows: $10 + 50c. The $10 goes towards all the prize money and the 50c is the rake that goes to the poker room. This is a small amount but when poker rooms have thousands of players like Cake Poker it all adds up. Some players can contribute thousands of dollars every month in rake and that's where we come in at Cake-Rakeback33.
There are two types of Rakeback available which are dealt rakeback and contributed rakeback. Cake Poker offers the dealt rakeback method. Dealt rakeback means that you will receive rakeback for every hand that you are dealt even if you fold your cards and are not involved in the final pot. When all the players are dealt cards every player takes an even percentage of the rake. Contributed rakeback means you only receive rakeback for hands that you contribute to. So by signing up for dealt rakeback you can earn rakeback just for folding a hand.
We take a percentage of the rake and give a percentage back to you. In this case the amount of rake you get back is 33%. If you were to pay $1000 in rake to Cake Poker then you would receive 33% of that rake back which would be $330. The more you play the more rakeback you will receive.
